Named after the Japanese word for whirlpool, the "Uzu" candle, with it's organic shape that curves and twists, is made in a small workshop in Tajimi by master potters. The black clay base allows for the bronze almost metallic glazing. Once you finish burning your candle you can re use the Japanese ceramic vessel. Simply remove the wick, wash with hot soapy water and use it as a tea or coffee cup.
